Notes - Willard Gentry - Journal of Gentry Genealogy email: gntry.srch@att.net states the following in an email to me dated 29 Dec. 2002:
"The Revolutionary War pension application by Thomas Bailey, (which has been published in the Louisa County Historical Magazine, vol. 8, #2 (Winter 1977) and in the Gentry Family Gazette and Genealogy Exchange, vol 8, p.51-54 (Dec 1991)) specifically names Nicholas Gentry as the father of Thomas' wife, Nancy Gentry. The application also relates Nancy's recollection that she was married in May 1780 in the home of Rev. Douglass in Louisa County."
