- (Research):The will of her father, Thomas Bailey shows her listed as Merina Holson (Holston). Therefore, she must have married a Holston from Hardin Co., KY. But which one?

Her maiden name was Nancy Gentry and they were married by license in Louisa Co, Va at home of Parson Douglass in May 1780. This is the same date as noted in the "The Bailey Database" of Donna Beers. However, Merincy's name is spelled "Marcarina" in the Beers record.
